"When I was living in Ecuador Dr. Counter made visits to study mercury contamination among the children and adults in our mining community of Nambija. There he is in the photo on the left on the road leading into Nambija. I joined Dr. Counter and his associate for dinner at the Hotel Libertador one evening. I believe he is a true humanitarian and I wish him well wherever he goes.
